GRIFFIN ARMAMENT EXPLORR® TAPER MOUNT BLAST SHIELD
The EXPLORR® Blast Shield was designed to offer significant concussion reduction for the end user and other team members operating in the immediate vicinity. Often team members in CQB environments experience concussion from muzzle blast that is not only deafeningly loud, but also can cause prolonged headaches that can last for days afterwards.
Especially effective on short barrels, the unique design of the EXPLORR® Blast Shield directs concussive force forward allowing an end user to rapidly reconfigure muzzle device function. Ultra strong 17-4PH stainless steel and laser welded construction provides a robust material and build method to withstand intense use and full auto fire without fear of failure.
Melonite QPQ surface treatment provides an extremely hard, durable, and attractive finish.
The Griffin Taper Mount interface is a gold standard in the industry, providing secure attachment, and unbeatable accuracy to consumers for over a decade. This interface has been improved however, with the Taper Mount-RI™ Rapid Index) interface feature, being 3X faster to mount than the original by engineering a precision indexing feature in the interface and using fewer machined thread rotations in a more optimal position within the body.
The Griffin EXPLORR® Blast Shield is compatible with our line of Taper Mounts up to 9mm.
