The 502 is made for maximum fun, but great range days are just part of the total package, this red-dot-ready rimfire is built FN right. Developed with lasting quality and reliability, just like its big brother, the FN 509® Midsize MRD. Matched design ergonomics between the 9mm and .22LR pistols make live fire defensive training a cinch, they even share the same holsters.

The FN 502 Tactical was the first red dot-ready rimfire pistol to mount a suppressor, with the accuracy and dependability in .22LR, that’s worthy of the FN brand. Extending the proven rimfire platform, the 502 MRD is the newest addition to the family, merging the target-quality feature set with full ambidextrous controls.

OPTICS-READY, AIM, FIRE.

Inspired by FN’s patented Low-Profile Optics Mounting System™, the factory-milled slide on the 502 affords more precision sighting options, without a gunsmith. Adding a micro red dot takes a few minutes, just remove the slide cover plate, and set two mounting screws. Then head to the range and shoot one-hole groups.

MAXIMIZE ACCURACY. MINIMIZE COST.

Splitting playing cards on the range with a .22 pistol isn’t a trick shot anymore. The single-action, hammer-fired trigger in the 502 is light, smooth and predictable, with a clean trigger break and reset. Paired with a red dot and quality factory ammo, the 502 shoots one-hole groups, one magazine after another.

.22LR pistols that won’t cycle different ammos break your rhythm on the range. Although clearing rimfire cases from the action has been a penalty for shooting bulk ammo, not having to clear jams is a far better solution. FN took a different approach – Make the 502 cycle the ammo you want to feed it. TIP: Push a cleaning rod through the chamber if you tire of loading magazines.
