The LayerX Ti-Lug is the lightest full-titanium 3-Lug adapter on the market at just 2.6 oz. Precision-machined from aerospace-grade titanium for maximum strength at minimal weight, with secure HUB-compatible quick-attach mounting. Finished in UPT’s P51+ diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating for exceptional wear and corrosion resistance, low friction, and easy carbon cleanup.

The Ti-Lug’s DLC coating already resists carbon adhesion during normal use, so buildup is significantly reduced compared to uncoated adapters. That said, the slip-fit interface will eventually accumulate fouling — a quick periodic clean is recommended to keep the action smooth and prevent binding over time.
