The APC9K SD2 was a submission to the United States Army as a demonstration of available technology for its Sub Compact Weapon (SCW) trials; one that offered unseen advancements in compactness, ergonomics, and integral, scalable suppression. Ultimately, B&T USA’s APC9K was selected and awarded the U.S. Army’s SCW contract as it presented exactly what the U.S. Army required for its mission.

At less than 15-inches in overall length, the APC9K SD2 is the shortest integrally suppressed submachine gun currently available; optimized for low visibility carriage and discreet deployment; while delivering unsurpassed accuracy, controllability, and ergonomics. Designed with the best Swiss engineering has to offer, this compact weapon includes numerous user-friendly features, such as an ambidextrous selector switch and safety, an ergonomic trigger assembly, non-reciprocating, auto-folding charging handle, and B&T’s highly regarded hydraulic buffer system.

The APC9K SD2 integral sound suppressor works with the ported barrel to reduce the noise signature and velocity of supersonic ammunition to subsonic levels under 130 dB. Housed in this nimble, fast-handling 9mm SBR with refined lower ergonomics, the suppressor gives a decided advantage to tactical operators addressing complex and constantly shifting environments. This model boasts a 2-piece modular suppressor and B&T 9mm lower backed by a telescoping stock and topped with a 3.0-in. barrel. Units are supplied with backup sights, cleaning kit, sling, soft case, and one 30-round magazine.
